If you can believe it, this would be the 11th Texas Chainsaw Massacre movie if it gets made. Looks like some stuff maybe leaking about the latest installment.

In case you did not stick around after the credits for the 2022 Texas Chainsaw Massacre on Netflix, the ending scene is above. Leatherface returns to the original home and I don't know if this leaves things open to a sequel. Leatherface is always ready for some more chainsaw action. The horror website Bloody Disgusting is reporting that a new movie is potentially in the works.

Texas Chainsaw Legacy?

According to Bloody Disgusting, Leatherface is set to terrorize a gated community in rural Texas called Oasis Oaks. I actually looked up to see if this is real place in Texas and turns out. Yeah...Oasis Oaks is an actual vacation rental property in Texas. It is also a wedding venue. I doubt this actual beautiful property turns into the setting of a horror movie, but who knows.

Like I said earlier, this is just a rumor and nothing has been confirmed at this point. The most recent installment for the Texas Chainsaw Massacre had a lot of viewership on Netflix. I'm not sure if they plan on bankrolling another movie, but it is pretty funny that Paul Giamatti recently said on the red carpet he would love to do a Texas Chainsaw Massacre movie.

I say let Paul get his shot at a franchise he loves. Guess we will wait and see what happens. I will never complain about new horror movies being made.
