Texas Senate District 28 Race: Charles Perry Makes His Case on ‘Rise and Shine Show’

The race for Texas Senate District 28 has reached a fever pitch, with six candidates vying for the seat being vacated by Robert Duncan.  Duncan is resigning to serve as chancellor of the Texas Tech University system.

State Rep. Charles Perry is one of the candidates seeking the office and is viewed as the most conservative in the running.  He called in to Monday's 'Rise and Shine Show' to talk with Joe Tom White about his decision to run for the office and what he envisions for Texas' future.
