Here's the long and short of it:

The world's tallest and shortest men met Thursday in London to help Guinness celebrate its 60th birthday.

Sultan Kosen, 31, of Turkey, stands eight feet, three inches, while Chandra Bahadur Dangi, 75, of Nepal, is one foot seven inches tall.

Ironically, Kosen says the two men have a lot in common:

Even though he is short and I am tall, we have had similar struggles throughout our lives and, when I look into Chandra's eyes, I can see he's a good man."

Of course, he needs a telescope to look in his eyes, but you get the point.
