I love radio, but I love it because it keeps me connected to people.  I've done almost every job in the business and now I have the honor of working at this station! I am married to a wonderful (now) retired MSgt in the Air Force. The Darin makes regular appearances on my show, but he usually refuses to talk, so I have to tell all his stories for him. Dillon is my stepson and his stories are also familiar to those that listen regularly.  Dillon could be the next me.   He LOVES being on the radio. Most days, I work from home and do my show with a portable studio that was built for me since I am now semi-retired (at the ripe old age of 34).  So, if you hear the dishwasher, the washing machine or the sounds of a 9 year old with his Lego, it's all good!

December 2012 was a horrible time for Newton Connecticut.  It was a horrible time for us all after the school shootings that, once again, brought the spotlight onto violence in our schools.  After one teenager killed 26 people (20 of whom were children), there was an epic wave of anger and grief and, we hoped, change.

The Oklahoma government approved a statue of the 10 Commandments and placed it on the steps of the Capitol. Now, one group is asking for some fair play and have designed a statue to promote Satan to appear at the Capitol.
