According to a new study, families in the Lone Star State are partial toward a modern take on a TV classic.

I say modern, but it's been over twenty-five years since The Addams Family was released in 1991. Texas, along with Michigan and Rhode Island, showed a particular affinity for the remake of the old TV series.

Using Google Trends to analyze movies that are streaming now on Amazon, Hulu, and Netflix, Frontier Communications determined every state's favorite spooky flick for kids.

Not surprisingly, The Nightmare before Christmas was tops among most states, with E.T. and Gremlins also coming in first among several states.
