Texas, (according to the Texas Tribune), is one of the top 6 pumpkin producing states, (in 2021, we grew 108 meeeeellion pounds of those suckers), and most of them came from one of our smallest towns.
The El Camino Real Heritage Center sits about 40 miles from Socorro, New Mexico ... practically, the middle of nowhere as it is ... all by itself , surrounded by hundreds of miles of open desert.
It's right smack in the middle of downtown El Paso, has won many awards, offers fine dining, is a whiskey and tequila drinkers paradise and has seen a zillion big names, famous and infamous, come through its doors.
