As a 25-year-old man, it's not often that a 4 year old can make me jealous.

Abel Duron of Henrietta, Texas got the once in a lifetime opportunity to visit some very secluded areas of Dodgers Stadium recently.

Abel’s father, Navy E-6 Aviation Technician 1st Class Jeffery Duron, was being honored as the Dodgers Military Hero of the Game on Tuesday (4/28) and was on the field for batting practice with his family. Jefferey calls Henrietta home, but he and his family are currently stationed in San Diego which is why they were out there for this game.

During batting practice, Abel wanted nothing to do with former Hall of Fame Dodgers manager Tommy Lasorda. Well, Tommy was able to win Able over and took him on a tour that few will ever see.

So the journey begins..

When we asked Jefferey if he had anything he wanted to say to Tommy Lasorda and the Dodgers he said,

Thank you to the whole dodgers organization for a phenomenal experience. And a special shout out to Tommy Lasorda for taking Abel on an unbelievable adventure that he will never forget. And to all the players, past and present, who took the time to shake little Abel's hand, thank you from the bottom of my heart - because it's not we the military that are heroes, but our families that have to deal with our absence that are the true heroes."

Abel also had something to say about his amazing experience, "Tommy took me to see the players, dadda I said thank you," Abel said, turning to his dad adding, "dadda can we go back?"
