Honor Flight Network, a non-profit organization created solely to honor America's veterans for all their sacrifices, will be sending over 30 veterans from the Wichita Falls area to Washington D.C. next week.

According to recent statistics, World War II Veterans are dying at a rate of 900 per day.  Honor Flight Network is continuing to do whatever it takes to help the remaining WW II veterans travel to see the monuments in our nations Capitol that honor them - at no cost to the veteran.  Since 2005, Honor Flight Network has flown over 63,292 veterans to the capitol absolutely free.

Our Wichita Falls veterans began their travels to D.C from the Howard Johnson Hotel this morning (April, 11th) at 7:30am

We wish safe travels and good times for our local heroes - they certainly deserve it.
