Lawton's Holiday In The Park Parade Set For November 21

The Lawton Fort Sill Chamber of Commerce Foundation has announced the theme for the 2026 Holiday In The Park Parade and official opening date of Holiday In The Park. Both the parade and the grand opening of the light displays and activities in Elmer Thomas Park will take place Saturday, Nov. 21.

This year's theme for the Holiday In The Park Parade will be Christmas Through The Decades, celebrating novelty and nostalgia of holiday seasons past. The foundation is now accepting registration for participation and donations for the parade.

What time is Lawton's Holiday In The Park Parade?

The Holiday In The Park Parade will begin at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 21. Lineup for the parade typically takes place along C Avenue near Central Plaza. The parade's route will begin north on 2nd Street and make its way into Elmer Thomas Park.

Parade entries are encouraged to deck out their floats with their favorite decade of Christmas. Parade registrations can be made online.

Lawton's Holiday In The Park will be open from Nov. 21 to Dec. 31.

After the parade on Nov. 21, Lawton's Holiday In The Park will remain open through Thursday, Dec. 31. During this time, visitors to Elmer Thomas Park can enjoy light displays, ice skating, and more. New this year will be bumper cars.
