Massive Lines at 7 Brew Across The Country Including Victoria

The 7 Brew in Victoria had a massive line on Monday morning. In fact, at around 7 a.m., the line went all the way down Guy Grant and then down Salem Rd. The reason why? A free squishy. 7 Brew held its Jackpot Day on Monday, giving away free "Brew Doh" squishy toys with the purchase of any two medium or large drinks.

People started to line up around 5 a.m. in Victoria.

According to some of the Facebook comments from Victoria residents, some waited over two hours. With some getting in line around 5:30 a.m. Most of those in line were parents wanting to score the latest craze for their kids, and some for themselves. This reminds me of the whole fidget spinner craze of 2017.

I spoke with Zach, a manager at 7 Brew and he said they went through around a 1,000 toys and were out around 11 a.m.

The promotion was a smashing success.

The promotion was a smashing success, and the feedback was mostly positive on social media. There are those few negative Nancy's out there. Most of them were grown adults talking negatively about the people in line and basically calling them stupid.

Keep in mind, a majority of the people in line were parents of children who wanted these toys. Why be so mean about something that doesn't affect you? Kudos to those parents who did something special for their kids.

7 Brew is genius for coming up with this promotion.

Whoever thought up this promotion deserves a promotion and a raise. Not only did 7 Brew know that the social media exposure would be incredible. They also made this a very lucrative venture. I am sure the actual cost of the squishy is pretty minimal. A person had to buy two medium or large drinks to receive the free squishy. Do the math. Well done, 7-Brew.
