40 New Summer Vacation Flight Destinations Added At Houston Airport
You can go to so many places when flying the friendly skies in Texas. Now you can add more than 40 new routes to that list thanks to United Airlines.
I am planning a flight out of town right now, and I was very interested to see all of the new destinations for the summer of 2024. According to chron.com, United is adding more than 40 new flights from George Bush Intercontinental Airport to places that would be perfect for the summer vacation of your dreams, domestic or international.
United Is Catering To More People That Travel To South America And Mexico
They just started non-stop flights between Houston and Georgetown, Guyana in South America. The airline will also begin non-stop service to the newly completed Tulum International Airport in Quintana Roo, Mexico.
United is trying to super-serve flights to Latin markets to meet current demands. Finding non-stop flights to uncommon destinations could become the norm.
Non-Stop Flights To Domestic Destinations Resume After Pandemic
United will also begin flying non-stop to many different spots for the first time since the pandemic:
- Tampa
- Boston
- Charleston
- Miami
- Ontario (Southern California)
They even added more flights from Houston, New York, and Chicago to Cancun and Cozumel.
Where Is Everyone Flying To From Hobby Airport?
All of this talk of new flights from Bush Intercontinental reminded me that Houston has two airports. The smaller Hobby Airport has always interested me, as it's the older of the two.
