A crazy rascal in downtown Dallas, Texas, decided to "make it rain" this weekend. The wild footage can be found by scrolling to the bottom of this article. A person was tossing handfuls of cash from a moving vehicle, sending dollar bills fluttering into the air and drawing crowds off the sidewalks.

The scene, just blocks away from the Dallas Life homeless shelter, caused brief disorder and confusion as pedestrians scrambled to catch the bills drifting down like confetti.

No one knows exactly why the person did it. There were no signs, no announcements, and no social media posts to explain it. Some people thought it might be a prank, a challenge, or maybe just someone trying to help in their own unusual way. So far, the person who threw the money hasn’t come forward or said anything.

The cash-tossing happened close to the Dallas Life homeless shelter, which helps people who don’t have a place to live. For people staying there, the moment was probably really exciting, but it looked really dangerous as well. All it would have taken was for a driver to be distracted, and one of those folks could have been hit by their car.
