Texas Cities Known for Strong Winds

But man, one thing that's a constant across the entire state is the wind. Some places in the Lone Star State are known for being super windy almost all the time, and people there have learned to live with it, even if it means holding onto their hats.

But wind in Texas isn’t always a bad thing. Some cities use it to generate electricity with giant wind turbines. The wind also shapes how buildings are designed and even affects how people plan events or dress (hello, ponytails and windbreakers).
