So, back to the whole pulling up your roots thing. WalletHub recently conducted a study to determine the best U.S. cities for jobs in 2026. Researchers based their findings on 31 factors that indicate the strength of the job market, including job openings per applicant, employment growth, and the average starting salary each month.
Two Texas Cities Crack the Top 10 Nationwide
When all was said and done, Plano was ranked as the seventh-best city for jobs, and Austin was ranked ninth. If you don’t mind living in the big city, those would be two great options. And it doesn’t hurt that, in addition to having a strong job market, there’s plenty to keep you occupied in both cities.
