Want the craziness of the Hotter'N Hell Hundred without that August heat? This is the event for you.

Just a few weeks ago, it was the annual Hotter'N Hell Hundred in Wichita Falls. This year's event brought over 7,500 people out for the annual ride. Looks like plans are in the works for ANOTHER 100 mile journey if you dare in 2025. The good news is that the heat should be gone by the time this starts up.

The newest event is allowing bike riders to take on a 100 mile race, 50 mile race, or a 27 mile casual ride. This will be an offroad challenge for those that are up for it. Each route takes riders deep into the scenic, rugged backroads of North Texas. Expect wide-open skies, tough terrain, and plenty of dust says the signup for the event.

If you notice above I said the 27 mile course is a 'casual ride'. That is because the 100 and 50 mile options are races where competitors will be competing for a slice of $10,000. Money will be divided up between the winners of Men, Women, Master’s Men, Master’s Women in the 100 mile and 50 mile races.

Wichita Falls Candyland 2022

Located on Southwest Parkway in Wichita Falls, Texas, east of Memorial Stadium, lies Candyland Christmas! A local homeowner goes ALL OUT on their holiday lights display by recreating the classic boardgame Candyland but with a festive twist. It looks like the homeowner started decorating in early November. We're not sure when the homeowner is planning on flipping the switch, but with the holidays right around the corner, they'll probably be lighting it up soon!
