You Won’t Believe This Fort Worth Police Chase

Here’s more proof that there’s never a dull moment in Fort Worth. Which, of course, is why I love to visit, but choose not to live there. I mean, come on – remember when it seemed like every other episode of Cops was filmed there back in the day? It is truly the gateway to the wild west.

That said, Fort Worth is one of, if not my absolute favorite, cities in this great state of ours. Hell, my wife and I just spent the weekend there a couple of weeks ago. While the Stockyards were about as packed as I have ever seen them, I didn’t see anything crazy go down while I was in Cowtown.

However, the folks filming the video below saw something exceptionally crazy. In fact, I would say the incident is among the craziest I have ever encountered on the internet. Someone was actually speeding away from the cops in a pickup that was missing the passenger-side front wheel.

I must say, the feat was quite impressive. I had no earthly idea a truck could go that fast without a front wheel. I’m also surprised that the pickup didn’t flip end-over-end when it lost the wheel. Now, I’m not sure how the chase ended, as we only see a few seconds of it, but if I were betting money on who would prevail, my money would be on the cops.
