One of the major tenants is getting out of Sikes Senter Mall before they close in a few years and it's a sad day for mall culture in Wichita Falls.

When it comes to malls, you have to have certain things inside of them in my opinion. One of them is the mall arcade. Now old school fans of Sikes Senter Mall will remember Aladdin's Castle. When people ask for anything they would want to bring back to Wichita Falls, it's usually this.

More recently, Sikes Senter Mall was home to another arcade across from the movie theater, which closed down a few years ago. Ironically it would be called Tilt that has no affiliation to our new arcade that just opened in 2024, Tilt Studio.

If you visit Tilt Studio in Sikes Senter Mall or the Tilt website for Wichita Falls. You're greeted with this message above. Looks like next Monday will be the final day for Tilt Studio in Wichita Falls. For those, like myself, that have Tilt cards with points still remaining, you can use those until next Sunday. Tilt says the cards will still be good at their other locations if you can't make it before they leave Wichita Falls. Their next closest location to us would be in Waco.

Tilt Controversy in Wichita Falls

This location was not just an arcade, but also had mini golf as well. Two courses are available, outer space and a medieval option. If you choose the medieval course, you will see an executioner on a wall with what appears to be a someone with a resemblance to Donald Trump getting executed.

Now we're left to wonder what happens to this wall in a few weeks.
