Some storm chasers were in town trying to get footage of the severe weather in our area over the weekend, but I actually caught footage of a very bad fire at local gas station.

If you're someone that loves storm chasing, give Live Storms Media a follow on YouTube. They share footage from all over the country whenever severe weather strikes. Most of the time the footage they get is from storm chasers covering tornadoes, hurricanes, or floods. Looks like some storm chasers were at the Quick Trip in Wichita Falls on Old Iowa Park Road on Friday night and happened to catch a fire break out at one of the pumps.

Thankfully Wichita Falls fire crews responded rapidly to the call and quickly got the fire put out. Quick Trip employees also shut off the gas at pumps to prevent the fire from spreading throughout their property. According to KAUZ, the motorcycle that you see on fire in the footage above, backfired when it was at the pump and that is what caused the fire.

Thankfully no one was hurt and it appears as if the damage was contained to the one pump on the property. Whoever this motorcycle driver has for insurance can just pass this footage along of what went down on Friday night. Hopefully these storm chasers got some good footage of the storms throughout our area over the weekend. However, the footage of the fire is pretty tough to beat.
