Conjunto Icon Isaac De Los Santos To Retire Later This Year
Conjunto icon and Victoria native, Isaac De Los Santos, has announced that he will retire later this year. The announcement was made on a Facebook post. Isaac made the following statement...
"So after 40+ years, I have decided to retire from music and enjoy my other retirement and my family for as long as the good lord lets me. It's been a great journey with lots of great experiences and accomplishments. And more than my share of great relationships with fans and friends and colleagues along the way."

De Los Santos has dedicated forty years to the Tejano/Conjunto music industry.
Isaac De Los Santos was inducted into the Tejano Roots Hall of Fame in 2023 and has been a part of the Tejano/Conjunto industry for over 40 years. De Los Santos was born right here in our hometown of Victoria in 1975 and became well known in the area for playing with Mariachi groups and found his way to Tejano and Conjunto music.
His musical journey includes Tremendos V, one of the most recognized Conjunto bands of all time: Jimmy Lee Y Tentatzion, Grupo Rey, Invicto, Los Garcia Brothers, The Hometown Boys, Nick Villarreal, and many more. De Los Santos also had the pleasure of jamming with the legendary Flaco Jimenez and also played at his celebration of life ceremony.
We thank Isaac for all he has done for Conjunto music. He has also ushered in a new generation of Conjunto music with Conjunto Cartel Records. We will miss seeing you perform on stage.
