Los Chamacos are moving into their next chapter! Yesterday, Los Chamacos announced on social media their new accordion player, Michael Longoria. Michael comes from a heavy Conjunto background.

Michael was raised with Conjunto music.

Michael was born and raised in Kingsville, Texas, and picked up an accordion at 11 years old, and eventually formed a Conjunto group alongside his dad and two brothers, Michael Longoria Y Conjunto Jamm. A family affair that has toured extensively in Texas and Mexico over the years. His dad, Johnny Longoria, used to perform with Conjunto legends including Tony De La Rosa.

Los Chamacos have also dropped a new single.

This is their first release in over a year. The last single was "Donde Estas Carinito" and charted on Rudy Trevino's Tejano Gold Countdown.  Michael Longoria will add his accordion style to the Chamacos legacy.

Look for Los Chamacos in a city near you.

Los Chamacos are also amping up their tour schedule. We are excited to see what this next chapter of Los Chamacos brings us. This Saturday, they will perform at El Social in Houston, Texas.

I have been a fan of Los Chamacos since the days when they recorded with Discos Diana and were called Los Chamacos de Raúl de Anda. Over the years, they have come out with some iconic hits. Including one of my all-time favorites.
