The 2026 football season for Texas Tech is going to be one of the most unique starts they've had in years. Think about it: the student seating process is no longer first-come, first-served, the entire stadium is under a brand new name after 20 years, and this summer has been filled with highs and lows between the NCAA and Tech's former quarterback Brendan Sorsby.

Rather than giving you a headache tracking every major change, let's focus on something fun: the color schemes for this season's home games.

TTU 2026 Football Season Color Schemes

The university recently notified fans what colors they should be wearing and on what days for the upcoming football season.

For instance, when the Red Raiders host Houston and TCU, fans are encouraged to wear all black. Looking ahead to the September 26 Agriculture Game against Sam Houston, the color scheme is all white.

Here's where they try to get sneaky. On October 17 during the Raider Power game against Arizona, fans at Galaxy Stadium are asked to split the difference. That means the west side should wear white while the east side is in red.

Check out the graphics provided by Texas Tech Athletics to get a better understanding of the color schemes:

You'd better act fast and get your home game tickets before they all sell out. Oh, and if you don't have it already, here's the full rundown of home game themes for the upcoming season.

Kickoff for game one against Abilene Christian begins at 6 p.m. on September 5. I hope to see you there!
