New to D&D? This Amarillo Shop Will Teach You to Play
One of the hardest things to find in any city is events or clubs for different hobbies people have, and Amarillo is no different. There are a lot of different types of clubs and groups that meet up for hobbies, but they aren't always easy to find because they aren't advertised.
A lot of these things are word of mouth. Sometimes, we start to learn about something for the first time, and it interests us, but we don't know how to go about learning more about it or getting involved in it.
Board Game Clubs In Amarillo
One of those lost hobbies is board games. There are many out there who still enjoy playing board games. Some of those are short and easy ones you can play multiple rounds in a sitting; others are long-form style games that can take days, even weeks, to finish.
We've had board game places open around Amarillo and Canyon over the years, and many of them would host game nights. Unfortunately, some of those places have shut their doors, and many didn't have days where you could go in to learn a new game. There are many people who would love to learn how to play something new.
Dungeons & Dragons Training
One of those games that has been popular for a long time is Dungeons & Dragons. It's been around since I was a kid, and it's seen a resurgence in popularity over the last few years. It's one of those role-playing style games that can just go on and on.
It can also be a bit of a complicated game to play, and that's why Recycled Games at 4310 S. Western St. hosts not one, but two sessions every Saturday to help teach you how to play the game. Every Saturday at 12:30 pm and 4 pm, they offer up two to three hour sessions to learn the basics of the game so you can play.
All you have to do is give them a call at 806-553-0697 to reserve a spot in the training.
