Canyon Popcorn Co. Is Closing: Here Is Your Last Chance to Get Their Famous Flavors
One of the great things about Canyon is its small-town feel. Canyon is full of some of the nicest people, and it is full of amazing locally owned businesses. Just walk around the square, and you will see that. Most of the businesses in the square are owned by those who live in Canyon and Amarillo. If you drive anywhere in Canyon, you will find those businesses everywhere.
However, when one of those locally owned businesses closes, it breaks a little bit of that Canyon spirit. Unfortunately, a very popular locally owned spot has announced it is closing its doors.
Why Canyon Popcorn Co. Is Closing
Canyon Popcorn Co. has announced it is closing its doors at
2304 4th Avenue.
After much thought and consideration, we have made the difficult decision to close.
According to a Facebook post, they were unable to find a buyer for their business and could not come to an agreed-upon term for a new lease that would allow them to stay open.
This was not an easy decision, and we are incredibly grateful for the support, loyalty, and encouragement from our customers, community, friends, and family throughout this journey. Serving you and being part of the Canyon community has meant so much to us.
When Canyon Popcorn Co. Will Close Its Doors
The store will officially close on Sunday, May 31.
How to Stock Up Before Canyon Popcorn Co. Closes
If you love their popcorn, it's time to stock up on your favorite flavors. They will have sales on their remaining inventory. They will also be selling their store fixtures and equipment.
A Look Back at Canyon Popcorn Co.'s Journey
Canyon Popcorn Co. opened in 2020 and has been serving the city of Canyon with over 50 flavors of popcorn, gift baskets, and more. This is a significant loss for Canyon, as the shop was a strong community supporter through its fundraising programs.
