Air travel is stressful and hectic anyway with all the delays and cancellations.  However, it's worse now that the hurricanes have started to affect everything.   We want everyone to be safe, but when a hurricane or weather delays a flight or shutdowns entire airports it will wreak havoc on the entire system.

According to the latest Department of Transportation (DOT) data, analyzed by InsureMyTrip researchers, DFW tops the list of U.S. airports with the highest percentage of weather-related delays.

Airports like DFW are bearing the brunt of the ripple effects from severe weather in other regions, highlighting just how interconnected our air travel system truly is.

• 3rd for the Highest Percentage of  flights delayed so far in 2024
• 2nd Highest Percentage of Flight Cancellations in 2024
• 8th for Flight Cancellation Rates in 2023
