The Best — and Weirdest — New Foods at MLB Ballparks This Year

You can’t go to a baseball game without partaking in some of the best food the ballpark has to offer.

With most of MLB kicking off their seasons this week, which foods at MLB ballparks will stand out this year? We run down some of the best — and weirdest — foods of the baseball world.

The New York Mets may have started off the year as the third best team in the division (according to their +1200 MGM preseason odds, that is), but they may reign supreme as the food kings of Major League Baseball.

Take their Championship Burger as the only example you need. It's layered with seafood and lobster fondue, so this isn’t any normal cheeseburger.

That drippy, delicious burger isn’t the only thing the Mets do well when it comes to food. Check out their dessert menu: The Rainbow Cookie Egg Roll from Wok N’ Roll mixes traditional sweet and Asian cuisine. Plus, it's just colorful and fun.

Want pizza? The Mets are good there, too — it is New York, after all — and this slice looks like it would take two hands to tame. The Spicy Pepperoni Pizza from Prince Street Pizza looks like a home run.

But other teams are getting in on the fun, as well: The Cincinnati Reds sent out a few of their best ballpark foods for 2024, including nachos in a Reds helmet, and of course, Skyline Chili.

The Mariners use a play on some of their players with the ‘Double MitchWich’ for Mitch Haniger and Mitch Garver. Both sides of the sandwich are packed with different cuts of meat, plus stuff like fried avocado and different cuts of cheese.

An added bonus for the $15 dollar MitchWich? Part of the proceeds from the sale of this hunky sammy will go to the Seattle Children’s Hospital.

Last but not least is the milkshake to end all milkshakes. The Chicago White Sox are offering the ‘Campfire Milkshake,' which is 16 oz. of milkshake topped with marshmallows, crackers and chocolate.
