Two Dead in Major Traffic Accident on Kell West Freeway [UPDATED]

UPDATE 1/3/2014 10:30 pm: Wichita Falls police have confirmed that a second victim in the accident has died.

UPDATE 1/3/2014 8:20 pm: Police are reporting that one of the accident victims has died as a result of injuries. Three others are still in the hospital with serious injuries. Releasing of names is pending next of kin notification.

The Wichita Falls Police Department is currently investigating a major vehicle accident that happened around 5:00 pm on Kell West Freeway over Harrison. Kell West Freeway from Holliday to Taft has been closed and police urge citizens to avoid the area.

Police are reporting that four people have been transported to United Regional Health Care for serious injuries and the WFPD Crash Unit has been called to the scene.
