67 days and counting until Election Day; doesn’t seem possible, does it?  As the election looms large over the nation, there are a few minor details you need to know.  First and foremost, are you registered to vote?  If not, now is the time to get it done.  You must be registered to vote no less than 30 days prior to the election.  This year’s deadline in Texas is October 9th.  You can visit the Wichita County Clerk’s Office website for more details.

The complete list of Election Day polling places is forthcoming.  According to county officials, we should have that info within the next few weeks.  Early voting will get underway October 22nd and continue thru November 2nd and the presidential election will take place on November 6th.
