My cat likes fresh water in his bowl every morning. It doesn’t matter if he was just given fresh water at midnight, in the morning he wants new stuff, and preferably with ice in it. I didn’t realize that so many pets enjoy ice in their water, but once he had it served that way he was hooked. I’ll indulge him. He has me trained well. Some pets don’t have a person to train, and that’s where you come in.

The Humane Society shelters pets, gets them the care they need, gives them the love they’re craving, and does their best to place them in permanent homes. Whether you’re looking for a lazy dog who prefers a quiet walk to play, or a cat who chases toys, chances are the Humane Society will have your perfect match.

May I present our pets of the week. If you’d like to see them in person or get more information on these pets or any other pets that the Humane Society has, check them out online here or call 940-855-4941. They’re located at 4360 Old Iowa Park Road in Wichita Falls.

Tik Tak

Tik Tak is a small, adult, short haired female cat. She’s around two-years-old, so she doesn’t get as crazy as some kittens do, but she still enjoys play time. She can be a little shy at first but she loves people and getting a good scratch. It’s unclear at this time if she’ll want ice in her water. She’s spayed, up-to-date on shots, heartworm tested and on preventative, and microchipped. Tik Tak is looking for her forever home and yours might be a purrfect fit. Stop by today to meet her!
