Agents Raid Clinic In Wichita Falls

Agents  with the FBI executed a search warrant today on the Texoma Spine Center on 10th Street.  The clinic is owned by Dr. Sanjoy Sundaresan, M.D.  WFPD Public Information Officer Sgt. Joe Snyder deferred all requests for information to the Dallas FBI Offices.  Messages to those offices have not yet been returned.  The exact nature of the warrant has not been determined, however, the Times-Record News is reporting that  Sundaresan "has previously been the subject of disciplinary action by the Texas Medical Board concerning the keeping of adequate medical records. An agreed order in late 2006 placed Sundaresan's practice under monitorship or ordered him to obtain ethics and records keeping training and to pay a $5,000 penalty."  Sundaresan has also come under scrutiny from the Texas Board of Medical Examiners.  Calls to the clinic itself were not answered.
