Police Respond to Shots Fired Near Wichita Falls High School

At about 10:32 am on Tuesday morning Wichita Falls police officers responded to a shots fired call in the 1300 block of Giddings.

Witnesses reported seeing a black male run into a residence in the same block. Officers made contact with a resident at the location and cleared it for safety. A black male was arrested at this time for unrelated warrants and the incident is still under investigations as to if any shots were actually fired.

There is no immediate threat to the public or schools in this area.
