Where is the line between politics and humanity?

Ken Shupe, a tow truck operator from Travelers Rest, South Carolina, left a disabled woman who was in a car accident on the side of the road because she supports Bernie Sanders.

Shupe, a Donald Trump supporter who works for Shupee Max Towing, stands by his actions:

Something came over me, I think the Lord came to me, and he just said get in the truck and leave. And when I got in my truck, you know, I was so proud, because I felt like I finally drew a line in the sand and stood up for what I believed."

Cassy McWade, 25, who suffers from psoriatic arthritis, fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and early-stage Crohns, was in a crash in Asheville, S.C. and called Shupe because her regular mechanic wasn't around to help. An hour later, Shupe showed up and began towing her car when he spotted the Sanders signs on her car and declared he couldn't help her:

He goes around back and comes back and says 'I can't tow you.' My first instinct was there must be something wrong with the car. And he says, 'No, you're a Bernie supporter.' And I was like wait, really? And he says, 'Yes ma'am,' and just walks away."

He then drove away, leaving McWade alone. Another truck eventually came to help her.

Shupe says he didn't know McWade is disabled (she claims a handicapped placard was visible) but wouldn't have towed her, even if he did, although he would've stayed with her until another truck arrived.

"I personally don't believe that you don't have to agree on anything just to be kind to one another," McWade said.
