Sure Texas does not have a Walt Disney theme park, but you can still hop aboard one of their Disney Cruises right here in the Lone Star State.

Pictured above is the Disney cruise ship called "The Wonder". Back in 2012, it took its maiden voyage right out of Texas. For over a decade, the Disney Cruise line has been departing out of Galveston, Texas. I am actually planning a cruise in 2025 and decided to see which ones go out of Texas.

This is probably the best of the cruises departing out of Texas because you get to visit both of Disney privately owned islands. Disney Castaway Cay...Nassau, Bahamas...Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point...San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Other Cruises Are Available as Well

Disney does offer special cruises out of Texas like a Christmas themed cruise, but the destinations are all the same as I mentioned above. Plus some have the same port destinations, but get you extra days at sea. I don't know if Texas will ever get a Disney theme park, but this is about as close as you can get right now.
