It's free to attend and free to park. There are going to be food trucks, a beer tent, rides and games for the kids, live music, a military flyover, and of course, a huge fireworks display that night. It's the perfect place to be this Fourth of July. It's going to be an all-American, red, white, and blue, star-spangled birthday bash.

We'll have lots of opportunities in Lawton, Fort Sill to see fireworks this year. So far there's the 'Freedom Festival' which happens this Friday (06-28-24) and Saturday (06-29-24) at Elmer Thomas Park.

I love how all these fireworks displays and events are being spread out. This way we can plan ahead and hit as many as we want, along with all the backyard cookouts and get-togethers with friends and family.

I know where I'll be heading on the 4th of July, the "Heroes of America Fireworks Show" at Apache Casino Hotel. The fireworks display will get underway at 10:00 p.m. Whatever your plans are, have a happy 4th!
