Over the years, many things have changed. Many businesses have left us over the years, and some of those places brought us some great times. Who remembers shooting pool at Barney's Billiards?
Barney's had such a chill vibe.
Barney's had such a chill vibe! Even if you weren't shooting pool. You could hang out for hours with friends while jamming to music from the jukebox—such great memories for so many of us. While information is hard to find, I used context clues and also Google Maps. I estimate that Barney's closed down in the late 2000s to make way for Rocks Gym, which still operates today.

For a short time, there was a place called the Ice House on Laurent that featured Billiards. Currently, Little Joe's Billiards is still open on George Street in South Victoria.
Cactus Canyon is another night spot we miss.
Another night spot that many of us have memories at? Cactus Canyon! Cactus Canyon opened its doors back in November of 1998 before permanently closing in April 2018.
