The video at the bottom of this article captures an electrical line explosion that left thousands of people without power in Houston.

Lightning, wind, and rain mixed together to create a ... shocking... scene.

As the video opens, we see several sparks traveling down the electrical wire on a crazy rainy day in Houston. Suddenly, a beautiful teal-colored light explodes from the left side of our screen which produces teal-colored smoke that slowly wafts across the screen.

Round Two

After a couple of beats, another blue flash explodes across the lines directly front and center in front of the camera. It looks like a special effect from a movie.

Better Safe Than Sorry

The caption on the post asks, "How often does this happen?" To which someone replied:  

 

Seeing the big boom was cool, but it's also important to remember to stay safe during storms. That means staying inside and away from windows and making sure things outside are secure. It's better to be safe than sorry.

So, there you have it! The story of how a wild storm turned the sky into a giant light show in Houston, Texas. It's a good reminder that nature is powerful, and it's always best to be prepared for whatever it throws our way.
