Well this morning I was scrolling through YouTube and stumbled upon this. Our welcome sign changed to "Wicked Falls" and someone declaring this the official theme song of Wichita Falls. How in the hell am I not going to click on that? Let's see what you got Jay Menis.

The song starts with the Crank That beat that Soulja Boy made popular back in the day and I was honestly expecting the worst rap song I had ever heard once that beat started, but you know what. Honest reaction, it's not bad. I have heard FAR WORSE Wichita Falls rap videos.

You're Obligated to Shoot Your Music Video in Front of The Falls

Let's face it, if you're going to shoot a music video in town. You have to shoot some scenes in front of The Falls. Sadly on this day, they were not turned on. Maybe that makes it look cooler? I'm not sure. I doubt a music video in front of the World's Littlest Skyscraper would be good. Maybe if you got a drone and got access to be on top of Big Blue downtown, that could make for a cool music video besides The Falls.

I'll keep an eye on Jay Menis and see if he drops some more Wichita Falls centric songs. Let me know if you think this should be the official theme song for the city. I say it should be that weird German disco song because it's one of the most random songs about our city to ever exist.
