If you love movies, get out and enjoy the Wichita Falls Symphony Orchestra. They will be playing some classics next weekend.

While construction is going on at Memorial Auditorium, the Wichita Falls Symphony Orchestra will be performing at First Baptist Church at 1200 9th Street. They kick off their season on October 18th with what they're calling 'Hollywood Hits'. They will be playing classic songs from your favorite movies (and actually one video game). Below are some of my favorites they have chosen.

'Overture'-Beauty and the Beast

Throughout the night they will have plenty of songs that people of all ages will recognize. One that is a classic for my generation will be 'Beauty and the Beast'.

Theme-'The Simpsons'

Since I was born in 1989, I don't know what it's like without 'The Simpsons'. The show literally started the year I was born and has been on television ever since.

Theme-Medal of Honor

Kids today don't know how awesome this video game was. Before Fortnite and Call of Duty, it was Medal of Honor and their kick ass music that got us hyped back in the day.

'Best of Bond'

I assume with this one we will be getting a few of the 'James Bond' themes. Can I get a martini with my music please?

Theme-'Star Wars'

When you think of orchestral scores in movies, John Williams 'Star Wars' theme is near the top. Several 'Star Wars' songs will be performed that night. Including a theme from the latest trilogy that just came out.
