The body of a man believed to be Marlin Jay Anderson was found in the Wichita Mountains early Friday.

The Comanche County Sheriff's Office did confirm that a vehicle found on the scene was registered to Anderson and that the man found had died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.  Anderson was released from the Clay County, Texas jail last Thursday after his attorney posted a $75,000 bond.

Anderson was arrested on August 4th following a nearly month long investigation.  The victim was described as a 3 year-old "family member".  As the investigation progressed, it was revealed that Anderson had also admitted to sexually abusing another female for several years, beginning when she too was a toddler.  The now-adult female victim is reportedly the mother of the 3 year-old victim.
