Clay County Sheriff Kenny Lemons formally announced the arrest of three new suspects in the murder of a man in northern Clay County.  A tip led authorities to a home on FM 2332 just south of Petrolia last week.  Investigators discovered the skeletal remains of a male subject buried on the property.

Deputies with the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office in Phoenix arrested 31 year-old Justin Wayne Green on a charge of murder.  His bond was set at $1 million.  Green’s mother, 49 year-old Terri Janiece Green was also apprehended in Phoenix and charged with felony tampering with evidence.  Her bond was set at $250,000. Both suspects are being held in the Maricopa County Jail awaiting extradition back to Clay County.

The first suspect to be arrested was 26 year-old Brittany Green, sister of Justin Wayne Green.  She was arrested last Friday in Wichita Falls by Clay County deputies and the Texas Rangers.  The same night, Wichita County Sheriff deputies arrested 25 year-old Stephanie Heaston Corral in Iowa Park.  She is also charged with tampering with evidence and is held on a $250,000 bond.  As of Sunday, she was held in the Wichita County Jail.

Clay County officials believe the murder occurred around five years ago.  The remains have been sent to Tarrant County for autopsy.  The exact cause of death and identity of the victim have not yet been released.
