Wichita Falls police have released new information about the hit-and-run accident that occurred on Saturday afternoon (10/4) killing one woman.

64-year-old Connie Merrell was riding her bicycle on North Beverly Drive when she was hit by a car. The car then fled the scene. Merrell died later that same night from her injuries.

WFPD Crash Investigators have determined that the suspect vehicle is a 95-97 gold Toyota Avalon like the one pictured above. The color was determined to be gold instead of silver after inspecting damage debris from the scene.

Police are asking for your help in locating the suspect and suspect vehicle in this incident. The suspect is still believed to be a white female.
