Outraged McDonald's Customer Finds Swastika on Bun

A fast food restaurant seems like an odd place to find a message of hate, but that's exactly what one woman discovered.

Charleigh Matice found a swastika made of butter on the bun of her McDonald's chicken sandwich when she recently ordered one in Morehead City, North Carolina.

Matice was not at all amused:

Is this a joke? Does somebody really think they're funny? Many people died because of that symbol and it’s not something that should be taken lightly. It’s not something that should be thrown around."

The employee responsible for drawing the swastika has been fired.

Matice got a refund on the sandwich and says she will eat at that McDonald's again. The restaurant has also apologized for the incident.
