Wichita County Republican Chairman Resigns

Tom McCorkill, the chairman of the Wichita County Republican Party, has reportedly submitted a letter of resignation to vice-chairman Danny Breegle.  McCorkill had been at odds with county party's Executive Committee in recent months over a variety of issues.  Sources indicate Mr. McCorkill's resignation would become effective at midnight on September 30.
