Former North Texas Teacher Indicted for ‘Improper Relationship’ with Student
Seymour ISD
A former Seymour ISD teacher and coach has been indicted on charges of having an ‘improper relationship’ with a student.
Trent Wilson, who resigned from the district in February of this year, was arrested on Friday and released a short time later on bond. A Baylor County grand jury returned a two count indictment against Wilson on Thursday of last week.
An investigation began after allegations were made about a relationship between the former coach and a student. The alleged ‘relationship’ occurred sometime between February and May of 2015. Officers with the Texas Rangers took over the investigation last year. The age of the student is not known at this time.
