Shaq Is Opening His Own Fried Chicken Restaurants In Texas

Who doesn’t love fried chicken? Seriously, I could eat it every day. I’m not alone in my love for fried chicken either. Have you ever been to a Chick-Fila location around lunch time? Not only is the dining room packed, but the line for the drive through usually runs out into the street causing a huge traffic jam on Kemp Blvd.

Anyways, Shaquille O’Neal is taking advantage of American’s love for chicken dishes, and will be opening up his Big Chicken restaurant to Texas. Shaq originally launched the restaurant in Las Vegas, and since then he’s opened up locations all over the country. In addition to his locations in Las Vegas, currently Big Chicken operates in Los Angeles, New York, Seattle, and even on two different Carnival Cruise Ships.

The first Big Chicken will open up in the Dallas area later this year, however Shaq is planning on opening up over 50 different locations across the Lone Star State. Hopefully, we’ll see a location pop up here in Wichita Falls sometime soon. I think that Big Chicken would defiantly give Chick-Fila a run for their money.
