The former site of the old Shamburger Lumber Company on Kemp Blvd. is about to become home to a new business.  Urban Air Trampoline Park is about to break ground on the new Wichita Falls location at 2515 Kemp.  Managing partner Colby Cates offered some insight on the new attraction:

It's going to be so exciting for Wichita Falls!  We will have a huge 90' x 40' main trampoline, 2 dodgeball courts, a foam pit, 2 slam dunk basketball courts, and perhaps most exciting; a "Warrior Obstacle Course" similar to that seen on the TV show ‘American Ninja Warrior’.  All this will exist in a state of the art, multi-level, 21,000' sq. ft. facility designed for maximum fun and entertainment.

The attraction is definitely a first for Wichita Falls and Urban Air has enjoyed tremendous success in several Texas cities, including Austin, Frisco, Waco and Midland, just to name a few.   The venue is slated to open sometime around Labor Day this year.  Cates tells News Talk 1290 they expect to employ 50-60 part time and 4-5 full time staff at the location.
