Early Morning Stabbing in Wichita Falls

Just after 5:00 AM this morning (Aug 21), Wichita Falls Police Officers responded to to a fire and assault call on the 1600 block of Monroe.

Police say when they arrived on the scene the house had flames coming from it. The victim, 51-year-old Leeroy Longshore, had been stabbed one time in the back. He was transported to United Regional Health Care. His condition is not known at this time.

Police have detained a suspect and an arrest is expected in this case.
