City of Wichita Falls Launches Email Newsletter

In an effort to keep the public up to date on city services and activities, the City of Wichita Falls has launched a brand new monthly email newsletter. The new city newsletter, called "City News" will cover every City department and division and provide valuable tips on how to access and use City services, report on current and proposed improvement projects, list meeting dates for the City Council and many other topics. Citizens can even submit comments and questions that they feel need to be addressed or heard.

Rick Perry to Drop Out of Presidential Race

Gov. Rick Perry will not be participating in the debate in South Carolina on Thursday evening. He, instead, is set to announce the end of his presidential campaign. This decision will come only two days before the South Carolina Primary.

Students at the University of California-Davis Pepper Sprayed at Close Range by Campus Police [VIDEOS]

On Friday, protesters had a stand-off with campus police at the University of California-Davis. They'd been warned to leave the area, but about 50 protesters sat down in a circle and stayed. And there's footage of a cop walking up to them and unloading on them with pepper spray about a foot from their faces. He and another cop have now been put on administrative leave.
