Violence has once again marred a baseball game at Dodger Stadium.

This weekend, four people were arrested at the Los Angeles stadium on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.

A fight took place after a fender bender “got totally out of hand,” according to authorities. Gang associations were quickly ruled out.

An unnamed driver in his 20s was beaten and sustained cuts and scrapes on his face. He is in stable condition, and his injuries are said to be non-life-threatening. Apparently, he was involved in a collision with another driver while exiting the ballpark. He also had an eight-months pregnant passenger in the vehicle. She was unharmed.

Sgt. David Armas confirmed that the victim was held down while the original suspect “kicked and hit him about the head and face area while he was on the ground.” Four men in their 20s were involved in the attack.

This is the second time that violence at a Dodgers game has grabbed headlines. This instance was much less tragic than a well-publicized incident when San Francisco Giants fan Bryan Stow was beaten in the parking lot and left brain damaged following last year’s Opening Day game.

Security was supposed to be increased at the park as a result of that beating, with authorities saying that they quickly responded to this incident.
