Not every story has a tragic twist.  Even in a crowded, busy and often times rude metropolitan setting, people will come together when things get tough.  Tokyo public transit riders and staff proved this Monday morning when a 30-something female passenger fell off the steps of a train car and found herself trapped between the train and the platform.

Rather than panic, passengers from the train and waiting at the station came together and literally pushed the train off the woman to free her.  According to the AP, about 40 commuters assisted the transit staff on had as they pushed the car off the track.  The woman emerged with only minor injuries.
