Crime Stoppers Crime of the Week: 1985 Cold Case Homicide

Wichita Falls Crime Stoppers is searching for information on a cold case homicide.

On December 5, 1985, 83-year-old Madeline Carroll was knocked down and robbed in the Luby’s Cafeteria parking lot by a young male approximately 5’9” tall, weighing between 140 and 150 lbs. Carroll died from the attack.

The suspect fled the scene in an older model (possibly Chevrolet) pickup with at least one other male inside.
